Gould -- I am looking for any information on Altimore Gould (born 1855) and/or his wife Mary Gould (born 1856); these would be my ggg grandparents.  I am in the process of starting a family tree and can't find any additional information on these two.  I'm not sure what Mary's maiden name is, but would love to have that information.  They had children, one by the name of Tom Gould (born 1870), married to Cornelia Proctor Gould (born 1873).  I would love more information on any of the above names.  Tom and Cornelia had kids, one by the name of Altimore (born 1902), and his wife Irene Polk Gould (unsure of birth, but died in 1959).  Any information on ANY GOULD would be very much appreciated.  This is an African-American family.

I know that Altimore/Mary and Tom/Cornelia are buried in Centerville Black cemetery.  Any personal information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,
Lynette M. Givens

I saw in the Freestone Co. census for 1880 there was a family named Sims living in Freestone Co.  My husband's grandmother's name was Fannie A. Sims.  Her mother's name was Martha.  We understand she died giving birth to his mother or shortly after that.  We also believe she married a Pinkney Price.  I can find no records to confirm this.  If you have any info on this family could you please pass it on to us.  This is worse than looking for a needle in a hay stack.  Thanks so much.  Billie Jo Moore

Pinkney Vinson family of Freestone Co., TX 1900-1930 --Searching for info on the Pinkney & Susan E. Vinson family that appear on the 1900, 1910, & 1920 Freestone Co., census.  In 1930, Pinkney is enumerated in the household of his daughter and son-in-law, Jewell & Clyde Roney.  TX death index indicates that Pinkney H. Vinson died Feb 26, 1934 and his wife Susan E. Vinson died Sept 2, 1922 both in Freestone Co. Info found indicates that Pinkney H. Vinson was postmaster of Harp, TX until the mail delivery was moved to Winkler in 1909. Of special interest would be where Susan E. & Pinkney Vinson are buried. Have info to share.     Jan Wallace
