Edna Emmons Ham

Funeral services were held last week in Teague for Edna Emmons Ham, 86, of Teague who died Sunday, April 12, at her home.

Mrs. Ham was born April 5, 1906, in Freestone Co. and had lived in Teague most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eighth Avenue Baptist Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Ricks Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Royce Sanders and the Rev. Bobby Myers officiating.

Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague, Texas.

Pallbearers were Dewitt Emmons, Monty Moncrief, Ricky Emmons, Richard Emmons, Jr., Kerry Keller and Earl Keller.

Mrs. Ham is survived by a brother, Richard Emmons of Teague; two nephews, Richard Emmons, Jr. of Fairfield and Kerry Keller of Mesquite; a niece, Bettye Moncrieff of Seadrift; three sisters-in-law, Artie Emmons, Emma Emmons and Mellie Dunn, all of Teague; a brother-in-law, Earl Keller of Dallas; three great-nieces and three great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Ham; her mother and father, Henry Grady and Mary Morris Emmons; three brothers, Ernest Grady, Virgil Smith and James Bradley Emmons; two sisters, Vera Elizabeth Atkins and Deannie Faye Keller.

Arrangements were made by Ricks Funeral Home of Teague, Texas.
