Hazel Schill – Died 22 June 2009 – Bowers Funeral Home

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Schill were held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at 3:00p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Benny Mize officiated. Interment followed the services at Union Cemetery near Freestone.

Mrs. Schill passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 at her residence near Donie. She was a dedicated homemaker and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Schill had her own greenhouse and enjoyed raising plants and flowers from cuttings or seeds, spending many hours tending to her garden. She was a Baptist by faith and spent her last fourteen years living on the family ranch, S. W. & S. Cattle Company, near Donie. She is survived by one son, Don Schill & wife Mary Jane of Donie; three grandchildren, Craig Schill & wife Elyse of Donie, Debby Smith & husband Steve of Tomball, and Kyle Schill & wife Shay of Robinson; seven great-grand children, Kimberly Fulp & husband Justin of Crawford, Trent Smith of College Station, Danielle Schill of Donie, Tyler Smith & Kaitlin Smith both of Tomball, Taylen Wallis & Laken Schill both of Robinson; one great-great-grandson, Jacob Fulp of Crawford; her caregiver, Minerva Solomon; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Matthew of Houston; three nephews, Jeff Fowle and Jim Matthew both of Houston, and Bill Jackson of Taylor.

Mrs. Schill was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Schill.
