Old Phillips Community Cemetery
African American

Deep in the woods off of Joy Wright Mt. Rd barely in Gregg County on the Gregg/Smith County line.  We are unable to give directions,  as we
wandered around little paths and pig trails, lost, until we accidently found it.  There are no roads, and you would have to know exactly where it
is to have any chance of ever finding it.   We were told this area was once known as Phillips Quarters.   Burials are still being made here.
