	Bates, Webster - Pfc Webster Bates, son of Mr & Mrs Weber Bates, attended Green HS. Entered Air Corps 1944; trained at Midland, Texas. Served at Keesler Field, Miss. Now on duty at Midland, Texas.
	Bell, John Allen - Cpl John Allen Bell, husband of Anna Lee Woods Bell. Entered Army 1943; trained at Ft Francis E Warren, and Camp Ellis and Camp Maxey. Served in Germany. Engaged in four major battles. Holds ETO Ribbon and Battle Stars.
	Billups, Clifton L - Sgt Clifton L Billups, foster son of Mr & Mrs J C Jones, attended Bishop College. Entered Army 1942; trained at Ft Eustis and Camp Stewart. Served in N Africa, Italy, Southern France, and Germany. Now on duty in France. Holds Combat Stars. Service Ribbons and Good Conduct Medal.
	Bowie, Catherine L., of Longview, enlisted in Women's Army Corps, Sept 1, 1943 as private. Served 24 years in various stateside and overseas assignments as administrative specialist and recruiter. Retired Sept 30, 1967. Awards include Army Commendation Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal with 5 oak leaf clusters. Thanks to Craig Manson for sending is this info as it was not included in the book.
	Boyce, Bonglee - L-272 - CK 1/c Bongee Boyce, son of Mr & Mrs Jessie Boyce, attended Gregg Co., training HS. Entered Navy 1939; trained at Norfolk, Va. Now on duty in the South Pacific.
	Boyce, H T - S/Sgt H T Boyce, son of Mr & Mrs Jesse Boyce, attended Tatum HS. Entered Army 1940; trained at Ft Sill, Okla. Now on duty in France.
	Boyce, R Z - Col. R Z Boyce, son of Mr & Mrs Jesse Boyce, entered Army Oct 1 1942. Trained at Camp Wolters, Mineral Wells, Texas. Served in the South Pacific, where he is still on duty.
	Bradley, Bennie F - Cpl Bennie F Bradley, son of Mr & Mrs Steve Bradley and husband of Ada Johnson Bradley, entered Army 1940; trained in Florida and Georgia. Served in Australia and Burma. Has Honorable Discharge.
	Bradley, Drue E - Pfc Drue E Bradley, son of Mr & Mrs Steve Bradley, entered Army 1941; trained at Ft Dix, NJ. Served in North Africa and Italy, where still on duty.
	Bradley, James A - S/Sgt James A Bradley, son of Mr & Mrs Steve Bradley and husband of Doris Dunn Bradley, entered Army 1944; trained at Camp Ellis, Ill. Has served in Germany. Now on duty in France.
	Bradley, Manuel - Pfc Manuel Bradley, son of Fannie Bradley, entered Army 1942; trained at Ft Francis E Warren, Wyo. Now on duty at Camp Lee, Va.
	Bradley, Monroe - Pfc Monroe Bradley, son of Mr & Mrs Steve Bradley and husband of Evan Jane Cok Bradley, entered Army 1940; trained at Ft Huachuca, Ariz. Served in New Guinea. Now on duty somewhere in the South Pacific.
	Bradley, Nelson - STM 1/c Nelson Bradley, son of Mr & Mrs Steve Bradley and husband of Laura Spencer Bradley, entered Navy 1943; served in the Southwest Pacific. Has five Combat Stars. Now on duty at San Francisco.
	Brittain, Claude - Pfc Claude Brittain, son of Mrs Ida B Brittain; graduated from Gregg Co. Train. School. Entered Army in 1942; trained at Camp Claiborne, La. and Camp Stoneman, Cal. Has served in Southwest Pacific. Now on duty in the Philippines.
	Brittain, George E - T/Sgt George E Brittain, son of Mrs Ida Brittain, graduated at the Gregg Co. Train. School and attended Butler College, Tyler. Entered Army 1941; trained at Camp Wolters, Ft Huachuca, Ariz., Camp Slipper, Cal. Has served at Guadalcanal, New Guinea, and the Philippines.
	Brooks, Lemmie H - SC 3/c Lemmie H Brooks, son of Delsiz Crowe Brooks and Earnest Brooks, attended Longview Colored HS. Entered Navy 1943; trained at Great Lakes, Ill., where he is still on duty.
	Brown, Alex - Pfc Alex Brown, son of Mrs Sallie Brown; attended Longview HS. Entered Army 1943; trained in New York and Ill. Served at Air Base, Newark, NJ. Received Honorable Discharge.
	Brown, Virgil L - Cpl Virgil L Brown, son of Mrs Texana Daniels; entered Army May, 1943; trained at Camp Ellis, Ill. Served in England. Now on duty in the Philippines.
