Haggerty, Pervis - Cpl Pervis Haggerty, son of Mr & Mrs C H Haggerty, attended Hart School, Marshall, Texas. Entered Army 1942; trained at Camp Lee, Va., Camp John T Knight. Served in Burma, India and China. Holds Good Conduct Medal and AP Ribbon.
Howard, Jessie - Pfc Jessie Howard, husband of Blanche Simms Howard, entered Marines in 1944; trained in NC. Has Served in the South Pacific for the past twelve months.
Howard, Tom - Pvt Tom Howard, son of Tom Howard and husband of Luella Sexton Howard; entered Army in 1918; trained at Camp Travis. Wounded in action Oct. 5, 1918. Received discharge.
Hudson, Davis - Pfc Davis Hudson, son of Mr & Mrs W Davis, husband of Clestene Davis, Graduate of N. Chapel HS. Entered Army Dec. 10, 1942; trained at Camp Maxey, Texas. Discharged Sept. 1943.
Hunt, Earnestine E - Pfc Earnestine E Hunt, daughter of Mr & Mrs George Hunt Sr, attended Shiloh HS. Entered WACS in 1943; trained at Ft Des Moines, Iowa, Camp Forest, Tenn., Oglethopre, Ga. Served at Camp Atterbury, Ind., Ft Dix, NJ and now on duty at Ft Benning, Ga. Holds Good Conduct Medal and Service Medal.
Hunt, George Jr - Pfc George Hunt Jr, son of Mr & Mrs George Hunt Sr, and husband of Nina Mae Smith Hunt, entered the Army in 1944; trained at Camp Claiborne, La. and Camp Beale, Cal. Served in the Marianas, Tinian.
Hunt, Joe Q - Cpl Joe Q Hunt, son of Mr Louis Hunt and husband of Claudie Mae Hunt, entered Army as an MP in 1943; trained at Camp Wolters and Ft Huachuca, Ariz. Served in Africa, Italy, Germany, and Belgium. Now on duty in France. Holds five Battle Stars.
Hunt, Marvin D - Stm. 2/c Marvin D Hunt, son of Mr & Mrs Marshall Hunt; entered Navy 1944; trained at Bainbridge, Ma. Served in both the Atlantic and Pacific. Instructor at Bath, Me. Honor Man of Co. X-278.
