Gillespie, O B - 1st Lt O B Gillespie, son of Mrs W M Noel, attended Longview HS and BMI. Entered the Inf. in 1940; trained with Natl. Guard for four years. Commissioned 1st Lt April 1943. Has served eleven months in the South Pacific. Killed July 27, 1943 in New Georgia, Island.
