Nail, Fenton H - Sgt Fenton H Nail, husband of Dell Thompson Nail. Entered Army Field Art. in 1944; trained at Camp Roberts, Cal. Served in France, Italy, Belgium and Germany, where now on duty. Holds ETO Ribbon. 
Nash, Sylvester B - Sgt Sylvester B Nash, son of Mr & Mrs John A Nash. Entered the 15th Air Corps in 1942; trained at Curtis Wright Field Tech. Institute, Glendale, cal. and Albuquerque, NM. Has served in North Africa and Italy, where now on duty at Naples.
Nay, Bart D - Pfc Bart D Nay, son of Mr & Mrs Earl Nay Sr, attended Pine Tree School. Entered Army in 1943; trained at Mineral Wells, where now on duty.
Nay, Earl B Jr - Pfc Earl B Nay Jr, son of Mr & Mrs Earl Nay Sr, attended Pine Tree School. Entered Army in 1941; trained at Camp Wolters and Traux Field.
Neal, Annette J - Pfc Annette J Neal, daughter of Mr & Mrs J T Neal, attended Longview HS. Entered Army Air Corps in 1943, trained at Ft Oglethorpe, Ga. Assigned to March Field before going overseas. Served in France, England, and Germany, where now on duty.
Neal, Oliver O - PO 2/c Oliver O Neal, husband of Nevada Dunford Neal. Entered Seabees in 1942; trained at Richmond, Va. and Davisville, RI. Has served at Pearl Harbor, Saipan, Tinian, Guam and other South Pacific Islands.
Nelms, Calvin J - S 1/c Calvin J Nelms, son of Mr & Mrs W M Nelms, attended Longview HS. Entered Navy in 1943; trained at San Diego, Cal. Served in eight Naval Battles in the Pacific on the USS Tennessee.
Nelms, John H D - Pfc John H D Nelms, son of Mr & Mrs T D Nelms, attended school in Havana, Ark. Entered Army in 1939, trained at Ft Sam Houston, Texas. Served in the Philippines until he was taken prisoner of the Japanese, now awaiting release.
Newberry, Warren D - S/Sgt Warren D Newberry, son of Mr & Mrs John Newberry, entered Air Corps in 1942; trained at Sheppard Field, Texas. Served in France, England, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Has three Battle Stars. Now on duty at Trinidad.
Newman, John C - CM 3/c John C Newman, son of Mr & Mrs S C Newman, husband of Louise Davis Newman; attended Longview HS. Entered Navy in 1944; trained at USTC in San Diego. Served in the Philippines and now on duty on Guam.
Nichols, James H - APS James H Nichols, son of Mr & Mrs W A Nichols; attended Longview HS. Entered Merchant Marines in 1945; trained at St Petersbury, Fla. Has served in England and France. Now entering Army.
Nichols, Leonard E - T/5 Leonard E Nichols, son of the late Mr & Mrs C F Nichols and husband of Opal Carr Nichols; entered Army in 1942; trained at Camp Wolters, Camp Howze. Discharged in 1943.
Nixson, Frank D Jr - Pfc Frank D Nixson Jr, son of Mr & Mrs F D Nixson Sr, and husband of Edan Stocker Nixson; attended Pine Tree HS and San Marcos. Entered Inf. in 1943; served in France and Germany, where he is still stationed. Holds Combat Inf. Badge, Good Conduct Medal and three Battle Stars.
Nolan, Herman L - 1st Sgt Herman L Nolan, son of Mrs R W Franklin; husband of Mildred Stircker, attended Kilgore HS. Entered Army in 1943; trained at Ft Warren, Wyo. Served at New Guinea and Philippines. Wounded Nov 1944 on Philippines. Killed on Feb. 18, 1945 on Luzon.
Noland, Vance D - CFS Vance D Noland, son of Mr & Mrs H D Hudson; husband of Bruce Ridlehuber; graduate of Kilgore HS; entered Navy Seabees Sept. 1943; trained at Camp Peary, Va.; served at Pearl Harbor. Now on duty at Iwo Jima.
Nolen, L A (Buddy) - Pvt L A (Buddy) Nolen, son of Mrs R A Nolen; husband of Ima Jean Tadlock; attended Kilgore HS; entered Marines in Dec. 1944; trained at San Diego. Served on Marshalls and S. Pacific. Holds Purple Heart. Wounded in Aug. 1944; now on duty at Mare Island.
Nolin, Clifford C - Pvt Clifford C Nolin, son of Mrs Eva Patrick; husband of Doris Johnson; attended Kilgore HS; entered Army in 1945; trained Camp Hood and now on duty there.
Nolin, Leslie M - Sgt Leslie M Nolin, son of Eva Patrick; graduate of Kilgore HS; enlisted in Army Air Corps 1942; trained at Sheppard Field, now on duty in Los Angeles.
Nolin, Marvin M - Pfc Marvin M Nolin, son of Mrs Eva Patrick; husband of Clara Trice; entered Army 1942; trained at Camp Swift, Texas. Served in Germany, Holland , France. Holds ETO with three Stars. On duty at Camp Shelby, Miss.
Norris, George O - S/Sgt George O Norris, son of Mrs Callie Norris, husband of Robinette Clark Norris. Entered Air Corps in 1942, trained at Ellington Field, Pampa, Texas, Miami Beach, Fla. and Scott Field, Ill. Now in Radio School at Scott Field, Ill. Holds Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooters Medal.
Northcutt, Johnnie A - Sgt Johnnie A Northcutt, son of Mrs B Northcutt, husband of Rachael Graves. Entered Army in Nov. 1942; trained at Riverside, Calif. Has served at England, France and Germany, where now on duty.
Northcutt, William F - 2nd Lt William F Northcutt, son of Mr & Mrs Leon D Northcutt, attended Longview HS, New Mexico, MI and Texas Univ. Entered Air Corps in 1943; trained at various camps in the US. Has served with the 20th Air Force at Saipan, reported missing in action in the Central Pacific Jan. 9, 1945.
Norton, John Lee Jr - Capt John Lee Norton Jr, son of Mr & Mrs J L Norton, husband of _erry Seago Norton. Entered the Naval Air Corps in 1942; trained at Dallas, Corpus Christi, Texas and Jacksonville, Fla. for the Marines. Killed in plane crash out from Jacksonville, Fla. (NOTE: first letter of wife's name is missing.)
Nottingham, James H Jr - S 1/c James H Nottingham Jr, son of Mr & Mrs J H Nottingham, attended Longview HS and Kilgore College. Entered Navy in 1945; trained at Great Lakes, Ill., Del Monte, Cal. and Corpus Christi, Texas, where now on duty.
