Served in Italy; killed in Action on December 11, 1944 on Bombing Mission over Vienna. Awarded Air Medal and ETO Ribbons.

Served in Scotland and England. Holds DFC, Air Medal with three Clusters, ETO with two Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal. Honorably Discharged Jan. 1945.
