Clamp, Robert Cohagen Funeral services for Robert Cohagen Clamp, 86, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, with the Reverend Dewayne Beaty officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mr. Clamp died Thursday, December 28, 2006, in Gilmer. He was born August 15, 1920, in Rusk County, Texas, to Grady and Madge Clamp. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was an independent grocer and mechanic for Texas Eastman. Robert and his wife, Eloree, were longtime member of Mobberly Baptist Church and former members of First Baptist Church in Longview. Mr. Clamp is survived by his wife, Eloree Webb Clamp of Longview; son, Wayne and wife, Terry Clamp of Gilmer; grandsons, Corey Wayne and wife, JoAnn Clamp of Beaufort, S.C., and Adam Cohagen Clamp of Fort Campbell, Ky.; and great-grandchildren, Colton Wayne Clamp and Audrey Jo Clamp, both of Beaufort, S.C. The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday evening, January 2, 2007, at the funeral home.
