Services for James Russell Daimwood Jr., 37, will be noon Monday at the 
First Baptist Church with the Rev. O.D. Oliver officiating.

Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral 
Home.
Mr Daimwood died early Saturday morning in a Longview hospital following a 
brief illness.

Born March 31, 1947, in Longview. Mr Daimwood had been a resident of Kilgore 
for 10 months, following a move from Nacogdoches. He was a building 
superintendent for the First Baptist Church in Kilgore, where he was a member. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty C. Daimwood of Kilgore; a daughter 
Zsana Ann Daimwood of Kilgore; two sons, James Russell "Russ" Daimwood III 
of Kilgore and Christopher Glenn Daimwood of Kilgore; his parents Mr. and Mrs. 
James Russel Daimwood Sr. of Longview; a sister Ellen Mary Daimwood of Tyler; 
a brother, David Paul Daimwood of Longview; his uncle and aunt, Paul and 
Hallie Latham of Kilgore; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

The family will receive friends between 2-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
