DuBose, Juanita Juanita DuBose, 80, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Longview, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at an assisted living center in Mount Pleasant. She was born September 3, 1926, in Hoyt, Oklahoma, to Jess and Ruby Maxwell. Juanita was retired from Wal-Mart with many years of faithful service and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Wesley M. DuBose; grandsons, Paul Morton and Michael Todd Freeman; and two brothers, Vance and Roger Maxwell. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Wesley DuBose of Mount Pleasant; daughters, Judy Freeman and husband, Rhodney of Mount Pleasant, and Dana Morton of Marshall; brother, Gordon Maxwell and wife, Erniece of Whitefield, Oklahoma; grandchildren, David and wife, Crystal Freeman, Rhonda and husband, Marty Newman, Jessica DuBose, Stewart Ray Abernathy, Lisa Abernathy, Tina Freeman, Michael Morton, David Morton, Mary Morton Clark, Skip Morton and Barbara Morton; and great-grandchildren, Holly Morton, Nobia DuBose, Zoe Lynn Newman and John David Freeman. Juanita will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews and other special friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, July 5, 2007, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2007, at the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, with Robert Phillips officiating. Online condolences may be offered at www.mem.com.
