Foster, Vivian KILGORE -- Funeral services for Vivian Jewel Foster, 77, of Kilgore, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The Reverend Frank Bingham and the Reverend Brian Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Kilgore City Cemetery. Mrs. Foster was born January 19, 1929, in Farmersville, Texas, to Jesse and Fannie Mae Mitchell, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and spent her life taking care of family. Mrs. Foster was a member of the Stillwater Worship Center in Liberty City and former member of Bethel Baptist Church of Kilgore. Vivian's husband of 21 years, Murray Cecil Foster; and seven siblings preceded her in death. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Murray and Judy Foster of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kirby Smallwood; daughter, Debra Foster of Kilgore; and daughter, Kristy Roman of Kilgore. Vivian's grandchildren include Chad Foster, John Woods, Carl Woods, Shayna Smallwood, and Canaan Smallwood. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Other survivors include one brother, Paul Mitchell of Austin; and one sister, Betty Williams of Kilgore. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday evening, November 24, 2006, at the funeral home.
