Gatlin, Grace Lundy

Graveside services for Grace Lundy Gatlin, 89, of 
Fort Worth, formerly of Longview, will be held at 
3 p.m. today, February 3, 2007, at Memory Park 
Cemetery, with the Reverend Dewayne Beaty 
officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park 
Cemetery. She was born July 15, 1917, in Atlanta, 
Texas, to Sam and Cassie Hickey Lundy, and had 
lived in Longview for 57 years prior to moving to 
Fort Worth, Texas. She was a member of the First 
Baptist Church in Longview, where she taught the 
Grace Sunday School Class for 22 years. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Joe Edwin "Ed" 
Gatlin. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia 
G. Curry of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Michael 
Curry and wife, Jennifer, of San Diego, Calif.; 
Mark Curry of Austin; Matthew Curry of San Marcos; 
great-grandson, Nicholas Curry of San Diego, Calif.; 
and brother, Herbert "Dick" Lundy of Marshall. 
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of 
Longview, Hospital Equipment Loan at First Baptist
