Services for Jerry Jermaine Hampton, 23, of Longview, will be 1 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2006, at Welch Funeral Home Garden Court, with the Rev. John Wallingford officiating. Mr. Hampton died August 5, 2006, at his residence. Born January 29, 1983, in Longview, he attended Longview schools and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Retha Townsend; father, Willie Johnson; brother, Cory Hampton; and sister, Quiandrea Johnson. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Friday, prior to services.
