Hart, Clarence W

Funeral services for Clarence W. Hart, 79, of Longview, 
will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2007, at New Life 
Baptist Church, 3001 Hawkins, Longview, with the 
Reverend James Pierce officiating. Interment will follow 
in Rosewood Park Cemetery. Clarence died quietly January 
7, 2007, with his devoted companion at his side. Clarence 
was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Louise Hart. 
He is survived by his children, Deborah Gulley of Peoria, 
Ill., Laura Cruse of Chicago, Ill., James Hart of Sunrise 
Beach, and Cindy Hart of Austin. He is also survived by 
his seven grandchildren, Natalie Benson of Peoria, Ill., 
Justin Hart of Amarillo, Jean, Brandon, and Austin Cruse 
of Chicago, Ill., and Connor and Logan Hart of Sunrise 
Beach. Pallbearers will be Justin Hart, Arnie Patterson, 
Chris Porter, Joseph Porter, John Carr, and Chuck Shaffer. 
Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Nelson and Howard 
Clayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are 
requested for Southern Hospice or your favorite charity. 
The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday 
evening, January 11, 2007, at the funeral home. A memorial
