Hope, Jerry Dale GLADEWATER -- Services for Jerry Dale Hope, 53, of White Oak, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Clarksville City Baptist Church, with the Reverend Roger Gage and the Reverend Greg Selman officiating. Burial will be in New White Oak Cemetery. Jerry was born June 2, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, to James D. and Peggy Latimer Hope. He was a graduate of White Oak High School in 1971, member and deacon of Clarksville City Baptist Church, employee of Whataburger of Tyler for 21 years, previous tournament director of Angler's Choice, N.E. Division, an avid bass fisherman, and an avid Nascar fan. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and J.D. Hope; and grandparents, Thelma and Everett Latimer, and Mary and "Doc" Murray Hope. Survivors include his daughter, Casea Hope of White Oak; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Tricia Hope of White Oak; sister and brother-in-law, Beckey and Dan Hobbs of White Oak; sister, Jamie Hope of Longview; aunts and uncles, Faye and Charles Wilson of White Oak, Bill Latimer of White Oak, Charlene Hope of Mesquite, Leon Peel of Dallas, and Dessie Mae Hope of Ferris, Texas; nieces and nephews, Julian Latimer of Trenton, Texas, Melissa Blalock of Harleton, Hayley Hope Roberson of White Oak, Pasche' Hope of Gladewater, Stacey Hobbs of White Oak, Lana Stockell of Fairfield, Connecticut, Rodney Gay of White Oak, Brenna Wright of White Oak, Lindsey Irwin of Gilmer, and Jacklyn Irwin of Gilmer; great-nieces, Chere' Allen, Lila Thomas, and Breanna Ritter; great-nephews, Charles Evans Jr., Cameron Gay, Eddy Mathews, Dylan Stockell, James Blalock, and Richard Lee Alford IV; numerous cousins; many other friends; and best friend, Doyle "Coach" Thomas, whom he considered a father and a brother.
