James, Lynzie

Lynzie James of Longview passed away on Thanksgiving Day after a 
4-year battle with cancer. Lynzie is survived by his wife, Peggy 
James; mother, Ruby James; and children, Sidney, Allen, Greg, 
Michelle and Desiree. Lynzie also had 15 grandchildren. Lynzie 
retired from the U.S. Army in El Paso, where he completed his college 
degree at The University of Texas at El Paso. Always wanting to serve 
his country or fellow man, he went on to become a social worker for 
the state of Texas. Lynzie will be missed very much by all of his 
family and friends. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 
28, 2006, at Perry Clay Cemetery in Longview, on Estes Parkway, one 
block north of Interstate 20. Viewing will be 1:30-2 p.m., prior to 
the services, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
