Jenkin, Elizabeth English Tucker Elizabeth English Tucker Jenkin, nee Aunt Betsy, was born October 8, 1917, to John Potter and Elizabeth Barrow Tucker. She was the eldest of five children. She married Samuel Waters Jenkin on August 1, 1939, in Corpus Christi. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Sam; two sisters, Ella Mims Tucker Williamson and Mary Helen Tucker Parnell; and one brother, John P. Tucker Jr. She is survived by two unique children brought to her by God, David P. Jenkin and Alice Tucker Jenkin; a precious granddaughter who lovingly cared for her, Crista Ann; and two great-grandsons, Clint and Dylan. Also, she is survived by her baby brother and his wife, David Barrow Tucker and Sydney; one niece, Ann Lloyd Brown; along with many adoring great- nieces and great-nephews. Aunt Betsy, as she was known to all, enjoyed a wonderful life, an envious existence. She was a devoted Christian Scientist, a talented stain glass maker and a world traveler. Her family and friends were blessed in the shadow of her shining star and her light will continue in our hearts and minds. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Hope Fellowship Church, 300 Hollybrook, Longview, TX.
