Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery. Mr. Jones died December 10, 2007, at a local medical center. Born March 7, 1930, in Longview, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict, co-owner of Snelling Personnel Services and a Methodist. Survivors include his daughter, Jeane Snapp; and sister, Betty Jo Baldwin. Visitation will immediately follow services at the funeral home. Mr. Jones was born March 7, 1930, in Longview, to William Carl and Flora Ruth Woods Jones. He was a graduate of Pine Tree High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Jones loved football and crappie fishing. He was co-owner of Snelling Personnel Services and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Flora Ruth Jones; and two brothers, Billy Bob Jones and Carl Ross Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jeane and Errol Snapp of Longview; grandchildren, Nicholas and Carmen Snapp; two great- grandchildren, Olivia Cartagena and Thomas Deberg; one sister, Betty Jo Baldwin; and many nieces and nephews.
