Killingsworth, Josie Aleath Funeral services for Josie Aleath Killingsworth, 81, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2006, in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with the Rev. Charles Hunt officiating. The committal ceremony will follow in the Welch Garden Court. Burial will be in Summerfield Cemetery. Mrs. Killingsworth passed away Monday, September 11, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Killingworth was born April 5, 1925, in Pittsburg, to William Andrew and Madoline Fikes Townsend. She was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church, the Lady Phythians, Knights of Pythian Lodge, and Nomads of Abrudaka. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Tommy Killingsworth. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Celita Killingsworth of San Angelo, Mike and Becky Killingsworth of Longview, and Eddy and Sandy Killingsworth of Longview; grandchildren, Allison Bateman and husband, James, Staci Killingsworth, Andrew Killingsworth, Patrick Killingsworth, Lexanne Killingsworth, Leah Killingsworth, and Jonathan Killingsworth; sisters, Avis Howard of Houston, and Edith Lester of Gilmer; brother, Billie Townsend of White Oak; and nephew, Jimmie Muckleroy of White Oak. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 2105 E. Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605; or to Heart'sWay Hospice of North East Texas, 1306 Pine Tree Rd., Longview, TX 75604.
