McGilvray, Nova Irene Smith Services for Nova Irene Smith McGilvray, 85, of Longview, will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006, at the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel, with the Rev. Dale Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Mrs. McGilvray died Wednesday evening, May 10, 2006, at a Longview nursing center. She was born February 14, 1921, in Arkansas, and was a long-time resident of Longview. Mrs. McGilvray was a well-known and popular employee of Longview Drug Store, where she accumulated many friends. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Angela McGilvray of Longview; son, James Austin McGilvray of Lake O' the Pines; son, Robert Don McGilvray of Longview; grandchildren, Shane McGilvray, Karen McReynolds, Christy Cary, Michael McGilvray, and James McGilvray; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Withers of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; brothers, Charles Smith of Batesville, Arkansas, and Willard Smith of California; along with a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday evening, May 12, 2006, at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road. A memorial guestbook may be signed online at www.raderfh.com.
