McLeod, Mayola Valine

Funeral services for Mayola Valine McLeod, 79, of Longview, 
will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in the 
chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend 
Ted White officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Park. She 
passed away Monday, December 11, 2006, in a Kilgore nursing 
facility. Mrs. McLeod was born April 2, 1927, in Longview, 
to William and Doshia Stewart, and she had been a lifetime 
resident of the Longview area. She was a homemaker and a 
member of the First United Methodist Church of Longview. Mrs. 
McLeod was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. McLeod. 
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lucile 
Freeman and Margie Pace, both of Longview; sons, Richard 
Darnell of Longview, and Charlie Freeman of Denver, Colo.; 
grandchildren, Rachel Miller, John Darnell, and Elisha Marie 
Darnell; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and 
nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, 
December 12, 2006, at the funeral home. A memorial guestbook
