Maiden, Ruby Myrtle Funeral services for Ruby Myrtle Maiden, 81, of Hallsville, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with the Reverend Steve Cochran officiating. Eastern Star rites will follow services in chapel. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. Rader Funeral Home of Longview is in charge. Mrs. Maiden died Sunday afternoon, October 7, 2007, at her residence. Born September 26, 1926, in Limestone County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Longview No. 610, and she was a past Worthy Matron. Survivors include her husband, L.G.; daughters, Peggy Klink of Hallsville, Linda Owings of Grand Prairie and Kathy Rumsey of White Oak; sons, Larry Maiden of Hallsville, Danny Maiden of Hallsville and Jerry Maiden of Chandler; 18 grandchildren; a number of great- grandchildren; sisters, Ozelle Schockley of Lewisville, La., and Elsie Martin of Plano; and a brother, Bud Gressett of Hallsville. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Longview Cancer Center, 1300 N. Fourth, Longview, TX 75601. The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. this evening, October 9, 2007, at the funeral home. A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com.
