Plunkett, Frances Willene Gates Francis Willene Gates Plunkett went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Funeral services for Frances Willene Plunkett, 73, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2007, at the Spring Hill First Baptist Church, with the Reverend Wayne Spanhanks officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She was born August 24, 1933, in Rowell, Arkansas, the daughter of Nora Arletha Kemp Gates and Argie Don Gates. She was a member of the Spring Hill First Baptist Church, the HopeSunday School Class, and was a homemaker. For many years, she was a child care provider. She loved children; they were her passion. Ms. Plunkett was preceded in death by her parents: grandparents, Virgie Ann Plunkett Kemp and Dave Kemp, and Amanda Jones Gates and William Gates, and infant sister, Reba Jewell Gates. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gary Lynn Plunkett and wife, Ginger of Kissimmee, Fla., Larry Don Plunkett and wife, Lanita of Sheridan, Ark., Kathy Jean Ivers and husband, Tracy of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Linda Gail Holbert and husband, Jim of Longview. She is also survived by her brother, Billy Don Gates of Bauxite, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Spring Hill First Baptist Church Building Fund.
