Ransom, Robert Vernon "Bob" 


Memorial services for Robert "Bob" Vernon Ransom will be Wednesday, August 2, 
2006, at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 4656 Page Road. He courageously 
battled cancer for 12 years and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 29, 
2006. He was born July 10, 1948, in Dallas, to Robert Vernon and Bonnie Dorsey 
Ransom. He was a resident of Longview since 1978 and was with Mac Tools for 20 
years. He was preceded in death by his father, and he is survived by his wife, 
Sandi; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Charles Warren of Longview; son and 
daughter-in-law, Russ and Sunni Ransom of Leander; his grandchildren, Mason, 
Garrett, Judson and Madeline Warren, and Savanna Ransom; mother, Bonnie Ransom 
of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, John and Sharon Ransom of Longview; 
nephews and their wives, Jacob and Amanda Ransom of New Braunfels, and Josh and 
Abigail Ransom and their son, Cade, of Grand Prairie; extended family; and 
numerous close friends. Donations may be made in his memory to Heart'sWay 
Hospice of Longview or the American Cancer Society.
