Nettie Reid

Services for Nettie Reid, 74, of Longview will be held at 2 p m today, Nov. 14, 2001 at 
Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview. Officiants will be the Rev James Lynch of the Free 
Holiness House of Prayer of Longview and the Rev Rick Hume of Pollard Methodist Church 
of Tyler. Interment will follow in Lakeview Mausoleum. Mrs Reid died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 
2001 in Longview. 

She was born Sept 13, 1927 in Fouke, Ark, and had lived in Longview for 49 years. She 
was a member of the Free Holiness House of Prayer in Longview. Mrs Reid had worked in 
the cafeteria and as a bus aide for the handicapped at Longview Independent School 
District.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northeast Chapter of Alzheimer's of Tyler.
Survivors include her husband, Travis Reid; three daughters, and sons-in-law, Barbara and 
Billy Bass of Tyler, Bonnie and Joe Tincher of Whitehouse and Martha and Rick Bradbury of 
Diana; three sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Bonnie Reid of Hallsville, Mark and 
Gloria Reid of Longview and Harold and Brenda Reid, also of Longview; six grandchildren, 
Jimmy Reid, Curtis Reid, Chris Reid, Cheri Phelps, Randi Phelps and Travis Tincher; and a 
sister and brother-in-law, Essie and Dan Walker of Sanger.
