Rutledge, Dorothy Mae Services for Dorothy Mae Rutledge, 88, of Longview, will be at noon Friday, August 10, 2007, at Calvary Christian Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home at 1617 Judson Road in Longview. Mrs. Rutledge died August 7, 2007, in Longview. She was born October 14, 1918. Survivors include her children, Ira Rutledge, Don W. Rutledge, Irene Willis, Ruth Johnson, Dorothy Bond, Gay Nell Green, Betty Harper, Sharon Rutledge and Wanda Striegler. Interment will be in Rosewood Park Cemetery of Longview, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Rutledge died Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at her home, after a brief illness. She was born October 14, 1918, in Moberly, Mo., to William and Estelle Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ira M. Rutledge. Mrs. Rutledge is survived by her nine children: two sons, Ira T. Rutledge of Longview, and Don and wife, Cindy Rutledge of Canton; and seven daughters, Irene and husband, Joe Willis of Forney, Ruth Johnson of Springfield, Mo., Dorothy and husband, Billy Bond of Orange, Gay Nell and husband, Fred Green of Longview, Betty and husband, Billy Harper of Longview, Sharon Rutledge of Longview, and Wanda and husband, Charles Striegler of Longview. Mrs. Rutledge is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
