Private services for the family of Joel Scott, 72, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. 
Monday, June 26, 2006, at White Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are by East 
Texas Funeral Home. Mr. Scott died June 16, 2006, at a local hospital. Born 
June 23, 1933, in Oil City, La., he was a longtime resident of Longview and a 
bricklayer for many years. Survivors include his wife, Betty Scott; and 
daughter, Lisa Scott.
