Thompson, Buck GLADEWATER -- Services for Buck Thompson, 77, of White Oak, will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery. Mr. Thompson died November 24, 2006. Born March 8, 1929, in Philadelphia, Miss., he retired from the oil field and was a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Survivors include his son, Rick Thompson; daughter, Linda Thompson; brothers, Charlie, Bobby and Jackie Thompson; and sisters, Mel Trawick, Bessie Pace, Martha Lovern and Ann Attwood. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. today, November 26, 2006, at the funeral home.
