Tolbert, Olantha "Pig"

Services for Olantha "Pig" Tolbert, 71, of Kilgore, will be 
11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Mount Pleasant C.M.E. 
Church, with the Rev. Bryon Jackson officiating. Burial will 
follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bigham 
Mortuary. Mr. Tolbert died December 4, 2006, in Tyler. Born 
in Kilgore, he was president of the usher board, church 
treasurer, and member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include 
his wife, Laura Stanford Tolbert; sons, Steven Tolbert and 
David Tolbert; brothers, Benny Tolbert, Lenon Tolbert, and 
Broyles Tolbert; and sister, Elena Johnson. Visitation will 
be 1-8 p.m. today at the funeral home, and 10-11 a.m., 
Saturday, prior to services, at the church.
