Terry, Barbara Anne Barbara Anne Terry, also known to her children and grandchildren as "Hutch," passed away December 20, 2007, at her home in San Antonio. She was born March 15, 1933, in White Oak, Texas, to Thelma and Oscar Lowry. She was a soft-spoken, gentle, kind person to all, and showed unconditional love and support for the family she nurtured. Mrs. Terry was a member of University United Methodist Church and the Exxon Exes Club of San Antonio. She was a devoted homemaker, wonderful cook and unsurpassed baker, who relished in spoiling her children and grandchildren with her love and her array of baked goods. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, James "Buddy" Terry of San Antonio; son, Joe Terry and wife, Tami, of Boerne; son, John Terry of The Woodlands; brother, Ray Lowry and wife, Nell, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; sister-in-law, Dorothea Strong of Bossier City, La.; brother-in-law, Michael Strong of Shreveport, La.; and grandchildren, Hunter McGinty, Travis Terry and Maverick Terry, all of Boerne, Texas. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today, December 27, 2007, at Winterfield Cemetery, under the direction of Welch Funeral Home of Longview.
