Utzman, Joyce 

KILGORE -- Services for Joyce Utzman, 65, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2006, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore, with the Reverend Bill Blanks officiating. Burial will follow in the Utzman Family Cemetery in Kilgore. Mrs. Utzman passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2006, in Longview. Mrs. Utzman was born November 19, 1940, in Longview, to Mr. And Mrs. E.C. Scharff, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Utzman was a retired office manager for Mabe Manufacturing. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. Joyce enjoyed working in the yard and being outdoors. She adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. Mrs. Utzman was a loyal and devoted friend who would do anything to help a friend in need. Joyce enjoyed music, a good laugh, and life in its entirety. All who knew Joyce will miss her. Two sons, Roy Bruce and Kevin Bruce, preceded Mrs. Utzman in death. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Shane Gilley of Kilgore; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Tracy Bruce of Henderson; sister, Ernestine Mabe of Lake Cherokee; three grandchildren, Hannah Gilley, Luke Gilley, and Josh Bruce; as well as many other loving family and friends.
