Fire Department
Patch

Date Unknown. Designed at the request of then Fire Chief Tommy McMasters. He wanted a new patch for an upcoming change in uniforms. Several persons submitted new designs. The Chief thought Ronald Hollomons submission was original because of the yellow fire hose and nozzle that borders the patch. The patch remained unique for a decade until a city outside Austin, "Jollyville", adopted it as is, with the Jollyville name in place of Longview. Thanks to Ronald Hollomon for the information on this great patch!
