	Parade Float	A float in a 1905 parade. The float is the circus theme with Richard Crain and Leon Northcutt driving, Bill N. Taylor inside the cage and Jack Howard standing behind the float. The fierce lion inside the cage is played by Clifford Spurling's dog.	-
	Parade Float	This float picture is taken in front of the First Presbyterian Church of Longview in 1908. The float is sponsored by the Forman Furniture Company and is driven by Leon Northcutt and Emmett Whittington. Ed Jeffery and a friend are holding the horses.	-

	Richard Nixon at Gregg County Airport	Campaign visit to Gregg Co. airport by Vice-president Richard Nixon. Most likely this was 1952...because of the other photos with which it has been kept all these years. However, if not, it would have been the 1956 campaign. Below the left edge of the US flag is Pat Nixon. The gentleman with the wavy black hair nearest Mrs. Nixon and under the flag is my father, Dr. W. Morris Ford. I do also know that the gentleman barely visible to Daddy's left was Bill Steiger who later became Judge Bill Steiger of Tyler. He was a Longview resident at that time.
