J. W. ANGELL (wILBUR ANGELL)-My grandmother's sister, Byrd Vincent, married J. Wl (wilbur) Angell in 1915 in Luling, TX. They moved to Grayburg, TX. She died 5 - 6 months after their marriage and was brought back to Luling for burial with her family. Recently I located a J. W. Angell in the index of Texas deaths. This J. W. Angell died March 5, 1931 in Gregg County. I am wondering if this Mr. Angell was her husband. Were other Angells living in Gregg (possibly Tyler)? Thanks! Gerri George ggeo@flash.net

My family names are Guyton, Gilmore, Reeves, and Peterson. My grandfather and grandmother 3 or 4 generations back are Robert Allen and Lucinda Caroline, from Cass county. My grandfather and grandmother were James Peterson and Minnie Reeves Peterson I believe I am related to President Grant through the Reeves side, and I know there is a connection to Jim Reeves. I would appreciate any info you have, or if you could tell me where to look, I would be greatful. I have copies of Civil War pay stubs for R.A. Guyton, and pictures from the family of R.A., Lucinda, and family, including down to my mother. Again, thank you for any information you can give me. I also want to get in touch with relatives. My grandmother, Opal Guyton Gilmore lives in Longview, where I was born, as do Aunts, Uncles, etc.
