Hodges Cemetery - Quinlan, Hunt County, Texas


Hodges Cemetery is located approx. 1.5 miles West of Quinlan Texas, off of Hwy. 276. While is has not been determined the exact date of origin, the earliest interment date is 1873. Several stump markers and 2 unreadable marker, make an earlier date of origin possible. Directions: Take Hwy. 276 West from Quinlan to Hunt Co. Road 2300. Turn left on HCR 2300 for approx. 1.3 miles, to HCR 2314. Turn left on HCR 2314 and road will dead end into the Cemetery. ** Please note that Hunt Co. has not maintained this road and it is not easily accessible. Cemetery is approx. 100 –150 yds. from the road and cannot be seen from HCR 2300.** Survey was done over a period of time during the 2000-2001 time frame. All notations were taken directly from the marker. Survey is grouped by family and not sequenced.
