Double Wedding Took Place at Greenville

A wedding of unusual interest took place at Greenville on Saturday evening, February 7, 1925, when Leo Porter Johnson and Miss Geneva Roach and Wilford Ted Dodson and Miss Mary Florine Roach were united in marriage. The Rev. J. Frank Weeden, pastor of the Washington Street Baptist Church, performed the double ceremony. The marriages took place at the home of the pastor and was witnessed only by a few friends.

Mr. Johnson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Johnson of this city and is a successful young business man, being associated with his father and uncle in the hardware business. Mr. Dodson is a son of J. R. Dodson of the Valley Creek community near Leonard and is a well-known and popular young man. At present, he has a position in the oil fields near Wichita Falls. The brides are daughters of James Franklin and Alice McDonald Roach of Celeste and are prominent in social circles of that city.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will make their home in this city and Mr. and Mrs. Dodson will reside at McGargle, near Wichita Falls.
