Alice Margaret Graham Buchanan

Mrs. E. C. Buchanan, resident of Greenville since 1935, died Tuesday, November 29, 1959, in a Greenville hospital following an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday in the James-Coker-Peters Chapel. The Rev. Leonard ___, pastor of the Central Christian Church will officiate and burial will be made in Forest Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy __, Clyde __, Roy W__, __ Bingham, Garrett Lee, A. M. __, and W. E. __.

At the time of her death, Mrs. Buchanan was residing at 4112 Wesley. She had moved to Greenville in 1935 from Caddo Mills where her late husband was a farmer and landowner and until his death on December 30, 1958 was in the real estate business. Mr. and Mrs. Buchanan were married in Caddo Mills on November 2, 1899.

A native of Arkansas, Mrs. Buchanan was born on January 13, 1882, and was the daughter of John Graham and Amy Yeager Graham. She was a member of the Central Christian Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. A. M. English of Lubbock; two sons, G. C. Buchanan of Dallas and B. E. Buchanan of Tucson, Arizona; one grandchild, Mrs. W. B. Ansley of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Frazier and Mrs. Jess Dodderer, both of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and two brothers, George Graham and Bruce Graham of Dallas.
