Celeste--Allegra M. Byers, 80, of Celeste, died Wednesday, April 14, 1982, at 11:00 AM in Leonard.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 17, 1982, at 2:00 PM at the Celeste Church of Christ with Leeman Keele and Bill Jones officiating. Burial will be at Dulaney Cemetery.
Born June 29, 1901, in Celeste, she was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Byers and Bettie Harbert Byers*. Miss Byers was a retired school teacher and a member of Eastern Star and Celeste Church of Christ.
Surviving are her brothers, Harbert Byers of Celeste and A. J. Byers of Yuma, Arizona; sister, Ruth Holmes of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
