Alvin E. Earle

Amarillo Daily News – September 26, 1973 – Services for Alvin E. Earle, 43, of 2302 Anna, an employee of Santa Fe Railway for 25 years, will be at 2 p.m. today in Schooler-Gordon Colonial Chapel.

Curtis Camp, minister of Bell Avenue Church of Christ, will officiate. Graveside rites will be in a Campbell (Tex) cemetery.

Mr. Earle, who died about 8 a.m. Wednesday in St Anthony’s Hospital, was born in Campbell.

He came to Amarillo two years ago from Hatch, N.M. Mr. Earle worked in the communication division of Santa Fe.

He was a member of Bell Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Verna; three daughters, Mrs. Donna Kyle of 4600 Lipscomb, Mrs. Rhonda Reeves of 2004 Monroe and Miss Terri Lea Earle of the family home; a son Robert Nolan Earle of the home; his mother Mrs. Willie Mae Earle of 911 W. 8th; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Sue Earle) Webber, of 928 Lamar and Mrs. J. W. (Alene Earle) Barker of Bonham; and a brother, C. A. Earle of Oklahoma City.

The Family requests that memorials be to the American Cancer Society.
