MERIT — Graveside services for Billy Boyd Bethel, 68, are at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, in Merit Cemetery with Larry McEntire officiating.
Mr. Bethel died Dec. 30, 2006, at his Farmersville residence. He was born Jan. 21, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to William H. and Esther I. Boatman Bethel. He married Nellie Paveglio on March 31, 1979, in Dallas.
Mr. Bethel was a Navy and Army veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Nellie Bethel, of Farmersville; two daughters, Barbara Mandrial of Mansfield and Annette Calvert of Wylie; five sons, Ben Bethel of Mesquite, Billy Bethel of Azle, Bryan Burt of Lubbock, Bobby Burt of Dallas and Billy Burt of Greenville; grandchildren, Monica McEntire, Michelle Calvert, Kasey Burt, Erica Burt, Michael Calvert, Jordan Burt, Misty Hebert, Dilon Burt, Jenifer Sims, Heath Bethel, Chris Kearns, Baily Bethel, Megan Kearns, Jordan Bethel, Hailey Bethel and Michell Overcash; great-grandchildren, Eliana Burt, Dakota Sims, Montana Sims and Shameus Shannon.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
