Those assisting with the music were Dana Warren Clark who sang Catherine's favorite song, "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and Donna Blackstock who played "Precious Memories" during the slide presentation. The poem "Dash" and the poem "Life" written by daughter Megan Hively were recited by Ricky Henslee.

Life

Suddenly you turn around and...
it's your first day in high school,
talking with old friends...
meeting new teachers, also.

Suddenly you turn around and...
it's your graduation day,
getting ready to go to college...
saying good-bye to everyone your know.

Suddenly you turn around and...
your whole life is passing before your eyes
not knowing what will happen next.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Methodist Church in Celeste, American Heart Association, or to a charity of choice.
