Kemp - Edith P. "Polly" Crone, 77, died Saturday in Athens. Funeral services are today at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel with A.O. "Dean" Simmons officiating. Burial is 2:30 p.m. in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City.
She was born May 5, 1923 to Charles F. "Bud" and Gracie Mae Hawker Scott.
She was a lifetime member of Rebekah Lodge and a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters Lynn Hilliard of Log Cabin and Vickie Miller of Kemp, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in two sisters and a granddaughter
