James Albert Crouch

Quinlan -- James Albert Crouch, 75, of Quinlan died Monday, February 26, 1979, in a Terrell hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist church here with the Rev. Dickie Golden and Dr. McClain Smith officiating. Burial followed at Ladonia.

Crouch was born October 9, 1907, at Tupelo, Miss., the son of Weldon Crouch and Alma Langston. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Quinlan.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Marie Shelby Crouch of Quinlan; sons, James Allen Crouch of Commerce, Carroll Clinton of Perliss, Harley Crouch of Ben Wheeler and Albert Crouch of Quinlan; daughter, Gail Walker of Quinlan; brothers, Will Hole Crouch of Copper and J. W. Crouch of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Eder Wright of Wichita Falls and Mattie Sandlin of Ladonia; eight grand children and one great-grandchild. Crouch was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Crouch of Ladonia.

Pallbearers were Jim Smith, George Dernery, Willie Austin, Bill Lewis, Bufford Wreon, Arlee Butler, David Barrow and James Barrow.
