QUINLAN — David Crow, resident of West Tawakoni, died Dec. 20, 2006, at his home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. in the Quinlan Funeral Home chapel with Adam and Diana Rook officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

David was born May 24, 1933, the son of David Robert and Ollie B. Stephens Crow. He married Della Mae David on Aug. 16, 1960, at Toms River, N.J.

He entered the Navy on July 16, 1952 in Waco and served until May 24, 1972. He also worked in heating and air-conditioning for the Dallas Independent School District. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife of West Tawakoni; two daughters, Rita Sullivan of Fate and Rhonda Holdbrook and husband Dennis of West Tawakoni; two sons, Russell Crow and wife Kimberly and Richard Crow and wife Reneé, all of West Tawakoni; six grandchildren, Shaun Michael Sullivan, Jennifer Lynn Ratliff, Hollyn Mae Holdbrook, Lauren Christine Crow, Justin Charles Holdbrook, and Joshua Michael Crow; and one great grandchild, Kylie Morgan Ratliff.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David R. Crow; and one brother.

Pallbearers are Richard Crow, Dennis Holdbrook, Justin Holdbrook, Josh Crow, Brian Jones, and Adam Rook.
