David Paul Freisner, 53, of Greenville died Feb. 6, 2007.

Born Jan. 30, 1954, he was the son of Evelyn Long and Lee Freisner Sr. During his lifetime David was a youth minister, professional painter and a pastor.

He also had a special gift with horses and spent much time breaking horses and training them for rodeo events. Along with his love for them, he passed on to his children his love of animals, his love of a good joke, his love for building things and his love for the Lord.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Jamie Freisner; a daughter, Jessica Freisner; sons David Lee Freisner and Timothy Freisner; his mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Alvin Parks of Royse City; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Dianne Freisner of McKinney; sisters and brothers-in-law Debbie and Danny Jackson of Allen, Pat and Al Szerlong of Arizona, Linda and Bill Peeples of Forney and Sandra and Charlie McKenzie of Mesquite; as well as a host of family and friends.

His father and a brother, Lee Freisner Jr., preceded him in death.

Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Lynch Funeral Service chapel. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Danny Freisner, Jimmy Spurlock Jr., Andy Bench, Chad Speir, Josh Hudspeth and Brian Miears are pallbearers.
