David Paul Gann, 34, of Lone Oak died the morning of Aug. 15, 2006, in Campbell. Mr. Gann was born Sept. 14, 1971, in Greenville. He was a wastewater operator for the City of Greenville. He was an A.S.A. softball umpire and football referee for the Greenville chapter and basketball referee for the Commerce chapter. Survivors are his wife Rejena Gann of Lone Oak; daughter Payton Gann of Lone Oak; his parents, Orville and Becky Gentry of Greenville; brothers Eugene and Brenda Gentry of Mesquite, Phillip and Susan Gentry of Lone Oak and Bryan Gann of Greenville; a sister, Dee Hart of Greenville; brother-in-law Ronald and wife Christy Barnes of Lone Oak; three nieces and eight nephews. A memorial fund has been established at American National Bank of Lone Oak for his daughter, Payton Gann, and donations may be made at any of their branches. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Lone Oak with Robert Cook officiating. Internment follows at Hooker Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bart Calahan, Adam Miller, Bob Green, Rick Ford, Danny Bowman and Jay Grisby. Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
