Don L. Cooper
Don L. Cooper, 78, of Celeste died the morning of February 24, 2007 , at his residence.
A celebration of life is scheduled at 1:00 PM , Saturday, March 3, 2007 , at Celeste United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Eason officiating.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
The son of James Thomas Cooper and Blanche Hankins Cooper, he was born July 26, 1928 , in Springfield , Missouri.
Mr. Cooper served in the US Army in Korea. He was an insurance broker. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, VFW and was a Shriner.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Gallagher Cooper of Celeste; a son and daughter-in- law, Craig Cooper and Michele Cooper of Owasso , Oklahoma ; brother, J. T. Cooper of Colorado ; a sister, Shirley Nolan of Arkansas ; and a niece, Connie Nowell of Arkansas .
