Funeral serevices for Frances Evelyn Moore Kirk, also known as Nonnie, 80, areat 10 a.m. Friday at Abundant Life Church in Greenville. A committal service will be at 2 p.m. at Laurel Oak Memorial Park in Mesquite. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Abundant Life Church.

Mrs. Kirk died Dec. 10 at her Greenville home.

She was born March 15, 1926, in Clarkesville, Texas, to Ernest Moore and Lizzie Bumgardner Moore. On April 7, 1943, she married GW Kirk in Greenville. A member of Abundnt Life Church, she was very involved in church and helped with Angel Food Ministries.

Survivors are her children, Rev. Wayne Kirk and wife, Pat, of Sweetwater, Paula Davis and husband, Larry, of Greenville, and Phillip Kirk of Dallas; grandchildren, David Kirk and wife, Denise, of Krugerville, Cheryl Kirk of Sweetwater, Krystal Davis of Greenville, Timothy Davis of Grenville; a special friend she considered a grandchild, Aleksander “Sasha” Tomica; great-grandchildren Jami Kirk, James David Kirk, Andrew Kirk, Shannon Kirk, Ashlyn Alexander and Dacia Alexander; three sisters, Gloria McClain of Rockwall, Ruby Wewe of Lewisville, Reba Newby of Bakersvillle, Calif.; and one brother, David Moore of Tyler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; two brothers, Glen Moore and Irvin Moore; and one sister, Cornealia Grey.

Pallbearers are Timothy Davis, David Kirk, Shawn Green, Tony McClain, Aleksander “Sasha” Tomica, Craig Shoemaker and Leon Morgan.

Memorial donations may be made to Angel Food Ministries, in care of Abundant Life Church, 6212 Live Oak, Greenville, 75402.

Arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce.
